The Invaders represented by Olympian Sunder Nix and All-American

440 yard dash, won the 400 in the 40 year age group with a time
of 50.42. Robert Thomas won the 200 and 400 (M35) with times of
22.20 and 48.88, respectively. Thomas also placed third in the

Team Director Greg Harger said, "We expect to field a larger
competitive masters team element this August as our Masters roster
has reached nearly 20 athletes in the last few weeks. The new masters
athletes will be organized and focused on track & field opportunities
with the summer track championships being held in Illinois. Fall will
see an appearance at USATF National Masters Cross Country Championships
with the addition of a couple more athletes in the next few weeks. Nix
and Thomas look forward to leading a much larger group when they return
next
year."
