INDIANA INVADERS ADD NCAA ALL-AMERICAN ALICIA MILLER

(INDIANAPOLIS) The Indiana Invaders have added NCAA All-American
Alicia Miller, of Indiana State University, to the team's roster.
Miller has a career best of 53.09 in the 400 and 23.72 in the 200.
Miller, a graduate of Elkhart Central HS, finished 17th at the
2004 NCAA Indoor Championships and was third at the 2004 Drake
Relays in the women's special invitational 400. As a two-time
Academic All-American Miller was also a 10 time Conference
Championship runner-up in the 400 and 200.
During Miller's senior year in high school she finished second,
second, and third in the 100, 200, and 400, respectively at the
2000 Indiana High School State Championships. In 1999, Miller
competed at the Indiana High School State Championships in the
100 (16th), 200 (5th), and 400 (9th).
Team Director Greg Harger said, "Miller has the talent and desire
to reach the next level of competition in her events." Harger added,
"We're excited to add another Indiana native to the roster. As we
look toward the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, we are excited
to support Indiana athletes like Miller that have the desire to
represent the US internationally."
Miller joins a roster that includes 16 athletes that qualified
for 2004 US Olympic Trials.
