INDIANA INVADERS ADD JOHN PORAY TO ROSTER
November 13, 2005
(INDIANAPOLIS) The Indiana Invaders have added distance runner John
Poray, a graduate of the University of Indianapolis, to the team's
roster. Poray has a career best of 30:25 in the 10,000.
Poray competed at the 2002 and 2004 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and
Field Championships in the 10,000.
Team Director Greg Harger said, "We're glad that we can support another
Indiana athlete pursuing his athletic potential here in Indiana." Harger
added, "Poray has the profile of an athlete with a lot of potential
talent that is just now starting to emerge after his collegiate career.
With long term, consistent training he will make great strides. We are
excited to see his potential unfold in the coming months and years."
Poray joins a roster that includes 16 athletes that qualified for the
2004 US Olympic Trials.
The Indiana Invaders, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1998,
presents an innovative approach to track & field by providing a
resident-based, athlete-centered support system unique to the sport in
the United States.
