INDIANA INVADERS ADD ALL-AMERICAN SPRINTER ANDRE TOTTON

December 1, 2005
(INDIANAPOLIS) The Indiana Invaders have added sprinter Andre Totton, a graduate of the University South Carolina, to the team's roster. Totton has a career best of 10.27 in the 100 and 20.85 in the 200.

Totton is a four-time JUCO National Champion, a 2000 US Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100, and 10 time All-American.

In high school, Totton was a three-time State Champion (100, 200, 4x100) and helped set the Pennsylvania state record in the 4x100.

Team Director Greg Harger said, "Totton's athletic resume is impressive and his addition to the team is significant as we look to grow a solid core of sprinters. He has the potential to have an immediate impact and we're excited to have him here in Indiana." Harger added, "We are excited to see his potential unfold in the coming months and years."

Totton joins a roster that includes 16 athletes that qualified for the 2004 US Olympic Trials.

The Indiana Invaders, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1998, presents an innovative approach to track & field by providing a resident-based, athlete-centered support system unique to the sport in the United States.
