Coach Ebersole’s Keys to Improved Performance
    1. Improve aerobic capacity through appropriate increases in volume and high end aerobic training.

    2. Improve running economy. Increase the specificity of training to meet the demands of the goal event (muscular tension, aerobic pressure, and lactate tolerance).

    3. Attention to details. Establish lifestyle and supplemental training habits that will maximize the positive effect of training.

    4. Focus on clear and present goals. Consistent checkpoints on the road to the long term goals will keep the coach and athlete honest in their effort and expectations

    5. Create and protect an environment for success. Make sure the hours away from training are not counterproductive to the mission.
